Welding Inverters

Inverter welding machine - a device with the inverter power supply that converts AC line voltage to the voltage and current for welding. The main components of the inverter power source typically are:
  • power rectifier, which converts the input AC voltage to a constant;
  • an inverter that converts the input voltage is below a constant to a variable high frequency;
  • high-frequency transformer, which lowers the voltage inverter converted;
  • high-frequency output rectifier;
  • smoothing choke.
Functional diagram of the power supply inverter welding machine is shown in the figure below.

Technological advantages of inverter welding machines:
  • minimal spatter;
  • short arc welding;
  • Welding poorly welded steel;
  • overheating of the minimum workpiece;
  • high efficiency and performance;
  • smaller dimensions compared with welding transformers;
  • to obtain high quality welds do not need highly skilled welder.
Inverter welding machines are also called welding inverters.
