Casting or Foundry Welding

Casting welding an outdated method of welding, welding position in which the molten metal is poured.

Casting or Foundry welding

The method consists in the fact that prepared the place is filled with liquid weld metal, overheated, harvested in a single product from a container, such as a crucible. The welding process is similar to the production of castings. Place welding, dried, and sometimes ignited, the product is heated and poured joint pre-prepared molten, preferably superheated metal. Thus welded products from precious metals, copper, bronze (jewelery, utensils, etc.), produced lead pipes for water. Currently casting welding is rarely used, for example, to correct iron castings.
